I recently visited Belvedere Parco Valentino in Piani Resinelli, a beautiful viewpoint in the Grigna mountain range in northern Italy. When you get to Piani Resinelli, your journey to Belvedere Parco Valentino begins. The main entrance is well-marked and easy to find from the parking areas. The trail to the viewpoint is well-maintained and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It’s a moderate walk that takes about 20 to 30 minutes. The trail winds through a beautiful forested area. As you walk, you’ll be surrounded by tall trees and the sounds of nature. In spring and summer, the trail is adorned with wildflowers, adding a splash of color to your hike.
2. Belvedere Parco Valentino
As you get closer to the viewpoint, the trees part to reveal an incredible panorama. From here, you can see the sparkling waters of Lake Como, the bustling town of Lecco, and the majestic peaks of the surrounding mountains. On clear days, the view extends all the way to the Milan Cathedral and the snow-capped Alps. The viewpoint is equipped with safety railings and informative panels that provide insights into the geological and natural significance of the area. After enjoying the stunning views, you can return to the parking area by the same path.
Belvedere Parco Valentino is a great spot for a family-friendly hike. The trail is not too long or strenuous, making it suitable for children as well. It can be a wonderful outdoor activity to enjoy with the whole family.
