PR9 Caldeirão Verde is absolutely one of the most beautiful levada hikes on the island.
After about 2 hours of walking, you reach one of Madeira’s highest waterfalls: the Caldeirão Verde waterfall. The water plunges no less than 100 meters down. It’s a wonderful spot to take a break and enjoy something to eat or drink.
